iTunes for indie film producers

So everyone watches online videos.  We all know that with evidence to prove it. How does one take their videos destined for Youtube, Facebook and other online video sites, and do something more with them, like make money. Medeploy.com offers a chance to video producers to make money. With this site’s service, you’ll be able to host your own videos and have users buy them and then download them. This could revolutionize the way indie film makers distribute their product, as they’ll be able to place this easy to use client on their website or blog. Think of all the opportunities for students and independent film makers.

There are two versions of the service, one for professionals (film distributors and TV networks), and the indie version for filmmakers. It’s a great idea that could allow video distributors to get back a piece of the profits lost to online pirating. It’s really easy to see how much content you’ve distributed. It will allow you to keep track of how much you’ve sold and how much money you’re making from videos. You can think of this as an iTunes for videos that you can embed on your site.
